Verbum is a Catholic Bible app featuring the Douay-Rheims translation, daily Scripture verses, and an AI-powered spiritual companion. The app is designed to support prayer, Scripture study, and spiritual growth.
Verbum offers a free tier with limited daily usage of the Spiritual Companion feature (5 messages per day). Premium subscriptions are available on a monthly ($2.99/month) or yearly ($19.99/year) basis.
You agree to use Verbum for its intended purpose of Scripture reading, spiritual reflection, and faith-based conversation. You agree not to misuse the Spiritual Companion feature or attempt to circumvent usage limits.
The Spiritual Companion feature uses artificial intelligence to generate responses based on Catholic teaching and Scripture. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses are not a substitute for the guidance of ordained clergy, trained spiritual directors, or official Church teaching. Users should exercise personal discernment.
Verbum uses the Douay-Rheims Bible translation, which is in the public domain.
The app design, code, and original content are the property of the developer. The Scripture text (Douay-Rheims) is in the public domain.
